Math Games For 2nd Grade Kids App Reviews

I have used Splash Math for years.. both in my classroom and during tutoring sessions! I love the tiered levels within areas!

My 7 year old child loves the games. My child loves the sea theme. I love it because my child can do a lot of the problems with a little help.

My second grader loves Splash Math! She has played it since kindergarten. Its the one academic game she asks me to play every week! And the results are obvious she gets the highest math scores possible, indicating she has met state standards, on her mid-year primary report card, when teachers are supposed to indicate the child is working toward meeting state standards. Splash Math rocks our world!

Splash math is THE best app that I have found for developing kids math skills, and I have looked at a LOT of them. It is a very engaging app, and the kids enjoy playing it. It also has great features for letting the parents track the kids progress so you can see not just how they are progressing, but also whether there are certain sections/concepts that they are struggling with. It is aligned with common core standards, so whatever your childs math curriculum looks like, splash math covers all of the important concepts. My kids have completed Splash Math grades 1-3 (even working ahead of grade level) and it has led to huge success in school. They are each the fastest in their class at math, and are scoring very high on standardized tests. Where friends and co-workers complain about how hard it is to get their kids to complete their math homework, my kids breeze through theirs - thanks to the skills they learned and strengthened with Splash Math. My kids do Splash Math some throughout the school year, but where it has had the biggest impact is the summer. They do 20 minutes a day of Splash Math in the summer, so while most kids are forgetting what they learned over the summer, a kid who does Splash Math is strengthening their skills and moving ahead! I cannot recommend this app highly enough - it is the best math app out there and I have seen it make an enormously positive impact on my childrens math skills, confidence, and achievement.

You can only do 10 math problems for free. Then you have to pay $7.99 a month to do more!! Deleting it

My 5 and 7 year old love it. The parent tracker app enables me to keep tabs on their usage and progress. Th full version of the app gives access to grades 1-5 for mor challenging content.
